Vegas Super Sprint

    Was looking at slowtwitch (slow day in work) and came across this

    Looks like a fun idea to me. Qualifying heats in the morning and then the finals in the afternoon/evening. The two 'lap' part of it makes it sound interesting. Any races like this in Ireland? Would be a better spectator race than an out and back Olympic course.

    I think Jenson Buttons charity event in the UK was this format. I read Gavin Nobles report from the day and he said he really enjoyed it. I think it would make for a great day out alright.

    Looks like DC rainmaker was at the event last night, only pro's allowed and a decent amount of prize money available.
