Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Un-Brick Ipod Touch

    So I have a 1st Gen iPod Touch 16 GB
    It was running a jailbroken firmware 1.1.1 and tipping along grand.
    I (Foolishly) decided I'd update it to 1.1.5 so I could use it with my new car stereo.

    The iPod went into recovery mode and iTunes cannot recover it, error (1) {not !-1) }
    So it's stuck in recovery mode now :(
    I dont care about the music on it, It's all from CD's which I have.
    Have tried the DFU method and a few different PC's and cannot get it either restored or updated.
    Is there anything further I can check before dropping it in somewhere.
    And given it's age is it even worth it?...
    Might be just as cheap to pick up one on Adverts...

    Apple won't allow you to install 1.1.5; you'll have to install the latest for your device. Not sure what that is but Wikipedia should say.

    Well when I Connect to iTunes it advises that it will be upgraded to 1.1.5
    It just won't do it.
