Suggestions for mp3 player which isn't apple product

Hi all

I'm looking for an mp3 player for elderly friend (poor eyesight). I'm reluctant to buy an apple product mainly because of itunes. She wants to listen to audiobooks and would like a radio as well. Need something fairly basic that is simple to use. Probably need expandable memory for her to store 5/6 books? Any suggestions welcome.

Cheap, has space for an sd card, if required and a radio, oh and the sound quality is very good out of the box.

Oh and this is taken form a review:
"For the audiobook listeners out there, let me point out that it bookmarks anything you have in the audiobook folder (not the music folder) so that you can easily switch back and forth between your books and your music"

So much cheaper than an apple, better functionality and sound is as good if not better (but with stock earphones you really will not be able to tell if the sound is good or bad ^ ^).

Or the fuze+, Given that poor eyesight would be an issue as mentioned. Maybe a larger screen might be of use.
