Public house on the road from Carn to Culdaff?

Wondering if anyone would know if there was ever a pub along the road from Carn to Culdaff (the road between McSheffreys Bridge and Aughaclay Church). If not, then any idea how I could go about finding out? Would there be records of such a pub stored somewhere?

Revenue keep lists of all the licensed premises in the country.
http://www.revenue.ie/en/tax/excise/

I'm sure if you email them they can give you ones from years ago (freedom of information and all that).
