Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Need to turn off iPad at night?

Sorry if this is covered elsewhere but is it necessary to turn off my iPad (4th gen) each night or can I just let it sleep? Any benefits to turning it off every night or might it be bad for it in the long-run? Thanks.

I leave mine all the time, and I just power it of every couple of weeks to remove stuff from memory.

No benefits, battery drain at night is minimal. It's designed to never be turned off.

I`ve had an iPad since they were launched and have never powered it down at night time.

As said minimal if any battery drain while sleeping, and battery seems to have improved again under iOS7.
