I have a Kanger T2 for nearly a year now, have to say pretty pleased with it overall, got a handfull of dodgy changable heads in that time, couple of lads I work with bought Joyetech eGo-c starter kits so it has me thinking about upgrading

Anybody using the Joyetech eGo-c or has anyone moved from a T2 to this & if so, what are your thoughts?

I like what I'm using to be uncomplicated & straight forward so no interest in rebuilding anything,

    Thanks

To add, just spoke to one of the lads using an eGo-c & he has mentioned about some leaking issues occasionally, is this prevelent?

I have the ego C twist battery with the Kanger T3 and T3s 1.8ohms and it's the best combo i Have come across so far. I have noticed different fluids vapourise differently, so Liqua will burn great at 4 volts, Dekang needs to be at 4.5 volts etc.. so the twist battery is ideal for this.

Naughtysmurf, are you switching batteries or atomisers?

Atomisers & moving from clearo's to carto if it's worth it if I have the lingo correct

Well, the eGo -C atties would be a downgrade to most people, leaky and because of the airflow, flavourless for the most part. And they're tank atomisers, not cartos (although all these definitions are vaguely liquid).
Get Boge cartos if you're getting cartos, 2ohm unless you have a device that goes up to 5v and beyond. You can get punches and tanks that surround these if you like the vape.
Evods and Protank minis are the latest favourite clearos but you might hate the cooler vape.
    What batteries do you have?

    Using 650mah at 4V with the T2

The Ego-c starter kit is more expensive in most places than the T2 starter kit, is it really a downgrade?

I'm going through a few more heads with the T2 than I'd like recently, this may be due to me dropping nic content so dropping to lower res heads to ensure some TH

Yep, the Kanger Twist kit is what you bought is it?

That kit was made up by ESI in the first place because we kept recommending people buy that stuff (over and over again) rather than any other starter kit. The eGo-C upgrade kit is only priced that way because Joyetech are a bit gougey, and it's only an upgrade from their previous boring starter kit that leaks.
The Kanger Twist kit is the real upgrade kit.

OP, if you are looking for something new, go for the innokin itaste v3. I use it with an evod and a T3s and can't imagine a nicer vape. Short of going down the vaping porn route!

Naughtysmurf, you can replace the wick in the T2s with cotton pretty easily to save on costs. Not so much a rebuild as a slip the current wick out and replace with cotton, rewick jobby. You just can't leave the cotton go dry. On the upside cotton is far less likely to go dry because it wicks like an MF.

By the way, vaperus are selling T2 coils for 69cent at the moment, if you buy more than five.

That's interesting, I have a few high res heads that are no use to me anymore so could take the wick out of those and put into the lwr res heads yes?

OK, dumb ass question, where do you get cotton? :o

The only thing that annoys me slightly with the T2 is the burnt taste once the wick has deteriorated, otherwise it's grand for me

That's the one I bought, not the ego twist. My mistake there.

It is an eGo Twist, they just took the Kanger from the atty and the Twist from the battery to name the set.

Getting silica into a tiny premade coil is too much hard work, use cotton.
If you want to post your higher-res heads to me I can rebuild and make them low-res with cotton if you'd like?
OK, dumb ass question, where do you get cotton? :o
Dunnes, Tesco, Boots, bakery supply stores.
    100% cotton pads/balls/gauze/cheesecloth
The only thing that annoys me slightly with the T2 is the burnt taste once the wick has deteriorated, otherwise it's grand for me
That'll happen, but with coil intact with cotton all you have to do is remove the cotton, dry burn & rinse & dry burn the coil, then slip new cotton in.

Coils last for aaaaaaaages. the more frequently you can be bothered rewicking, the longer the coil lasts.

Thanks for the offer, just checked my war chest, only have two high res, thought I had more, just whipped the wick out of it & stuck it in a low res one...not too bad but will go in search of cotton..thank you sir

Can you use any drip tip with a T2, or just the one it is supplied with?
