Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I was deported from Australia june 2012. My boss owed me $10,000 and then stole a further $1,400 from me while I was in detention. We are in contact by email & he keeps promising(even on his kids life) that I will be paid. I know this is all lies he's Lebanese! Is there any way I can pursue him for my money legally? I have been unemployed since returning home and really need my money.

But you got deported, did not know that countries deport people who obey their visa conditions. But in any event to claim back your money you will more than likely have to engage a debt collector and or solicitor down under to chase it up. BTW after a recent HC decision in Ireland if it was an illegal working in Ireland he can not sue for any wages due, i do not know if its the same down there but any good Astrailian lawyer can tell you. I assume if they deported you that you worked at least some of the time illegally.
