Is there a problem with the Eircom webmail today

    https://vzmbx08.eircom.net/zimbra just keeps spinning and spinning and not loading after successfully logging in.
    Eventually it will show my inbox etc but the emails take another couple of minutes to open or I get a server time out message.
    Sending messages is even stranger, it seems to send them with out me getting a notification that they are send or a get an error saying'' no such message exists''
    I have tried the advanced webmail version but this will not load at all, only getting the message that the connection timed out do I want to cancel the request

    When I try http://www.eircom.net/ I get a message can't establish a connection to the server at www.eircom.net.
    When I use https://secure.eircom.net/email it will not connect either just keeps spinning after login and will time out after a while

    Eircom webmail has been a problem for at least a year now, any idea what is going on, I know about an upgrade service but does that take this long ???

    Another question I am paying for the Eircom email protector and never had so much spam and infected emails as in the last 6 months, before I was able to log in to the email protector but that option does not seem to be there anymore ? Do not even know if the protector is still active even though I pay for this service

    So much for the 13 hours response time it is 23 hours, 14 minutes now :)
