Xbox ring of light board

Any not-so-obvious ways to loosen a really tight machine screw like the ones on this ring of light board? There's one that just won't loosen at all for me. Heads pretty worn at this stage too.

Using a Dremel disc, carefully turn the torx 8 into a normal flat head then remove using the appropriate screwdriver.
