Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Venue: The Hawthorns Date: Wednesday, 25 September

West Brom had 3-0 win over Sunderland last weekend which continued their mixed start to the season, whilst Arsenal beat Stoke at home to go top of the league. The Gunners recent record against the Baggies is very encouraging, winning the last four meetings. Arsenal won the last League Cup meeting in September 2009, Sanchez Watt and Carlos Vela the scorers in a 2-0 victory at the Emirates.
    Predicted teams are:

West Brom: Myhill, Jones, McAuley, Olsson, Ridgewell, Amalfitano, Mulumbu, Morrison, Sinclair, Sessegnon,Anelka
Arsenal: Fabianski, Jenkinson, Vermaelen, Mertesacker, Monreal, Arteta, Flamini, Eisfeld, Ryo, Gnabry, Bendtner.

And whilst eyes may be on Old Trafford tonight to see the return of a certain forward, all arsenal fans eyes will be on the return of this man

    Fabianski
    Jenks Mert Verm Monreal
    Arteta Hayden (?)
    Ryo Eisfeld Gnabry
    GOAT

Putting Hayden in CM as its the only way I can see that team, no idea where he plays. Expecting the 3 attacking mids to switch around a lot.

Hayden can play in defence or midfield but normally as a CB.

Bendtner 6/1 to score first with PP, might throw a fiver on for the laugh...

Strong enough looking WBA team, getting a result here would be a major achievement.

not one for the purists so far - Miyachi looks a good lad.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,608 ✭✭✭cathalio11

I knew we shouldn't have risked Hayden today. Could be out for the week-end now :(:(

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,608 ✭✭✭cathalio11

Bendtner can't win a ball in the air.

Makes me love Giroud even more.

Stupid smile on Wenger's face in the aftermath of Hayden's tackle.

It was ridiculous. Roles reversed, Wenger would go mad.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,012 ✭✭✭✭Alfred Borden

should have been red in fairness

I doubt he was laughing at the tackle.

I doubt he was laughing at the tackle.

Of course not. But a little smile at the whole situation. He'd be flapping if it happened to Hayden.

Can't believe I'm actually watching Bendtner in an Arsenal shirt again. Shouldn't have been allowed to happen, pure disgrace.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,748 ✭✭✭✭AdamD

I must admit I love the new barnet

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,608 ✭✭✭cathalio11

Woeful game but it's what we all expected.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,174 ✭✭✭Irish Aris

I wouldn't be surprised if this went to penalty shoot out. Looks like whoever scores, wins it.

What's the alternative to Bendtner? Not very likely that he will score.

(and apologies to everyone for the link :o. Not steady at all. . .)
