History research project The Priory?

So I'm doing my history research project for my leaving cert on The Priory Rathfarnham, where Sarah Curran lived. But I'm having a pretty bad time with it. I need primary and secondary sources, I went to the national library last night and read Sarah Currans letters and a manuscript I'm really find it hard to get any information, and therefore can't decide what to pin point the project on. Can anyone help?

Firstly, fair play on going to the NLI and delving into primary sources, even if they didn't prove immediately useful. Keep that attitude and a good project should be very possible!

While it might not be a peer-reviewed academic article, it does cite a fair few sources both throughout the text and at the end, including a number of newspaper articles with dates etc. so you can consult the originals. I'm assuming you're in Dublin, given your choice of subject, and Dublin City Library offer an online newspaper archive through its branches. If it's not too far, a visit to the Archive Reading Room in Pearse St. might be in order ... who knows what other sources they might be able to point you to?

Also ...the author of that article is actually a member of Boards!

When you've read and gathered a bit more, sit down with your teacher and get some advice on how to approach it in terms of focus and writing up.

I really want to email them I think they could really help! I found a few of the newspaper sources in this article are available in NLI so I'm going to check those out!
