HELP!!!

Hi everyone i seriously need advice!Not sure if this is the right page or not.Ive been working for a small company for just over 5 and a half years.Firstly full time then partime after having a baby two years ago.I went in to work on Monday morning only to be told they sold the company to a bigger company and i no longer have a job.Ive never been in this situation before and dont know where to go or what to do regarding redundancy etc.As it was a small company i never got holiday or sick pay but i do know i paid tax as have past payslips.
Any help would be greatfullly appreciated

This is a pretty complicated situation: there are regulations, but they only seem to apply to companies with more than 50 employees. But even you should still be getting 30 days notice.

I'd suggest visiting your nearest Citizen's Information office: they can help you work through what you do next.
