Using Linux for Sound Production

Hi all,I'm fairly new to music production and was wondering if anybody had experience with using Pro audio on Linux Arch, ive heard that its latency is low at 1ms if properly configured. Ive recently started using Linux and find it very responsive and wouldn't like to go back to Windows or Mac OS.
