There is a new Indian opening up where Yens was, might be worth a look, an amazing restaurant!

In Woodquay to the right of the new burrito place, it's up stairs
When it was yens I thought it was the best looking restaurant in town :)

Have always gone to the Tulsi, balti or jalfrezi chicken is very tasty, but curious about new place BonFire. If anyone goes post a review thanks.

just got a chicken tikki masala (yes, very boring) from Bonfire, the new place in Woodquay. tastiest i've had in ennis anyway, just the sauce was really creamy and buttery. can't tell much from just that one dish though but i'll definitely be heading back and checking out more. and some location, the rent must be shocking. anyone know when the old chinese there closed down? i remember being there once around 2009, completely forgot about it since.

Thats great to know, will def check it out!

The chinese Yens only closed a few months ago

second time getting a takeaway from bonfire tonight, butter chicken this time. feck me, it was unreal again. the sauce was orgasmic. holds up with anything i've got in Dublin anyway.

Another plus for Bonfire. Have been there twice in the last month and both times it was really nice. Staff were lovely and the decor etc is nice too, especially the fish tank.
I noticed the last night I was there that they do an early bird between 5-7pm. Not 100& sure on the price, but I think it was €11.96 for starter, main and tea/coffee. Smaller menu, but hope to try it out some evening soon and see if it's as nice.

Will definitely go back again anyway.

Mogul is fantastic but they're Sikh so if beef is your thing then this is a non runner and the last time I checked they didn't deliver. I didn't even know there was a burrito place in town. Anyone know if it's any good?

What's the name of that new place? I looked and I looked and I could not for the life of me find it, ditto for the Burrito place.
Maybe someone should point me to Specsavers instead.:(

    edit:
Found it on the map, I walked past that 15 times and there seems to be no sign of any kind of restaurant, looks more like an estate agent to me.

Had a takeaway from BonFire tonight. Have to say it was really good.
Chicken samosa seekh kebab chicken balti chicken jalfrezi Bombay aloo pilau rice and keema nan. All excellent. It's my new favourite Indian. The father-in-law was equally impressed. I'd definitely recommend it.
