What type of cuisine, ambience are you looking for? Do you have a budget in mind?

Also, Dublin is a big place - care to be more specific about location?

No particular cuisine in mind . I would like a romantic yet busy place and my budget is around €50

Central dublin would be my prefered location

I was at Dada's restaurant (Moraccan restaurant, just off stephens green) a few weeks ago, lovely food at a decent price (baring in mind I went on a Thursday at 7pm).

I also heard Little Caeaers is meant to be very nice too but have personally never been.

I was in San Lorenzos on Georges Street the other night and they had a two course early bird for 19.50 and a three course for 22.50.

Excellent value. Good big portions too.

I would recommend Neon (http://neon17.ie/) on Camden St., we went there last week and love it.
