    Probably but Itami and Zayn are out injured and Jericho/Balor is the match the WWE match maker (I believe that's Michael Hayes) might have made anyway as WWE likes to have one match that plays lip service to Japanese Wrestling when they tour Japan. Balor and Jericho are pretty much the only two lads who have worked in Japan for any length of time. So the match might have made itself.

    Gerry and myself will spilt the Gold star:
    Jericho vs. Balor, a first-time ever match, was a bout asked for by Jericho because he wanted a match that would be special to the Japanese crowd. The original match was Jericho vs. Itami, but Itami was injured and he asked for Balor. Itami is going to Japan from 5/22 to 5/31 to promote the tour.

    Devitt on one of my favourite non-Wrestling podcasts:
    Fergal Devitt (aka Finn Bálor) is a professional wrestler who is currently making his name on the world stage with the WWE and this week he joins Jarlath to discuss the journey that took him from Bray to Florida. Fergal speaks about the guidance councillor at school who believed in him and the teacher who didn't, not getting paid for the first 6 years of his career, sleeping on the floor of the Hammerlock wrestling school and the role of an apprentice wrestler in Japan where he spent 8 years.

    Fergal also talks about how completing 1,000 hindu squats in one set daily has strengthened him mentally, training at the WWE development facility, becoming Finn Balór in the ring, turning heel, experiencing loneliness on the road and how Father Ted and Lyons tea calms him down after performing in front of 10,000 wrestling fans.

    Both venues NXT ran in Albany and Philly were **** holes. The PA in Albany was really bad:
    Just when it seemed as though the sound system could get no worse, it died. Tyler Breeze was out with no issues, but Finn Bálor's music wouldn't play so he came out without. When he hit his pose on the turnbuckles, it finally blared on. He didn't look thrilled. Kevin Owens' music played without issue. All three guys got big-time reactions with Breeze getting cheered, Bálor getting cheered rabidly, and Owens getting a mixed but loud reaction.

    The interview with Jarlath was pretty good as it was an Irish person talking to an Irish person.

    Jericho's latest podcast is with Finn and it is excellent and on a much higher level. He confirms some stuff and reveals new things.

    - New Japan owns his light jacket. He doesn't have one.
    - WWE first approached in 2009.
    - Before leaving New Japan for WWE he was really happy with NJPW and was trying to get a long term deal. I guess kind of like Bret Hart's 20 year contract with WWE.
    - He signed with WWE in April 2014. I was telling everyone he did but people were playing the will he or won't he game until June or July of 2014.
