Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Hi all I am buying a used motorbike on Monday the bike has not been taxed with a long time. my question is when I buy it as a new owner will I get stuck for back taxing it under the new "off the road/ not in use" rule or is it because I am a new owner I just tax it from when I get my log book back.thanks in advance:confused:

That did not change so you only pay from the beginning of the month it gets registered in your name!

The only change is to the time you have to sort the tax - you have 10 days from the date of purchase to tax it or declare it off the road. You won't be liable for arrears due before the bike was yours.
