Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

new secretary,new chairman,new vice chairman?

    Will the chairman , secretary and vice chairman be ousted? will there be mass resignations? will the acusations be flying? has someone got sticky fingers? has someone been spying on members? does anyone know a good solicitor? O' Riordans solicitors seem to the the solicitors of choice at the moment. Of the 30 motions how many will pass? I will start the ball rolling and say it will be in single figures - 8 is my guess.

    9:30, it finished at. A new record by a distance. Alexander Baburin said at the end that the previous record was 5 hours. This was 6½.

    Madness. And so much time wasted asking the same questions over and over ever after they'd been answered both at the AGM and well before it as well, like with the money donated to the chess championships prize fund.

    Yep. Got a bit ugly too with open accusations of malfeasance and assault being thrown around against people with practically no evidence at all. Not really chess' finest day.
