Cheaper postage for heavy item - where to look?

A friend of mine needs send a 25kg package from Dublin to London - fairly regularly. He paid €85 which I think is expensive, but I'm sure he can get a way cheaper price from one of the shipping companies. Can anyone advise as to who might be able to do a good deal on this? Or where I should look? Thanks

parcel2go.com they get some unreal deals. I shipped ten 10kg boxes from London to Wicklow for £100 and that was with Fedex. Paid at 10am and they were there to collect at 11am.
