Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hello All,

    Whenever I purchase emery boards from chemists they never seem to last. My nails are not that strong (I got the notion to try Gel Nails years back once and vowed never again but my nails have not yet re-gained strength), but still the emery boards get worn down to nothing after one use. That's the brown pack of 5 emery boards.

    Where do you all purchase your own emery boards and do you find they last at all?

    I like keeping my nails filed down, with light-coloured varnish (for my work), but am flying through emery boards. Surely their are better quality ones for sale out there :o

    What about a glass or diamond nail file? I find them way better than emery boards anyway.

    Another vote for glass nail files. I got mine for about $3 in the US a couple of years ago. I think they are quite dear here so if you can have a look online, maybe ebay, for the best price.
