An airbus is just after taking off from Baldonnell heading west - think it's the same one that took off yesterday eve just after 7pm.

Edit: Yep - same one - it's just after popping up on FR24.It's FHY976 (Freebird Airlines A321).

I'm guessing so - just had a look at their website - based in Turkey, they're a charter airline.

I work in City West, so can almost see the runway from the office. Was in a meeting and heard what I now know it was passing over - had to fight the urge not to use the FR24 app on my phone!! :pac::pac: Thought it was unusual ok.

For some reason it was a helluva lot louder on the take off last night.

    I'm sure physics was involved.

Sound travels quicker and sounds louder when there's no light to absorb it......*

What routing inbound did this take? I think I heard it over Meath, but I couldn't find it on FR24 and closed was an EI529 nearby which didn't sound right, so it could have been the C130..
