Why's he not on EI or FR? The trip is ridiculously short and as for security well who would bother.

Higgins jet is squawking emergency - is this normal for 'high priority' flights?

To be specific, it's 7770 - is this emergency?

Ah come on. I'ts a state visit. Not overnight trip to Old Trafford.

Only right for our head of state to arrive in style and put our best foot forward.

The Queen didn't arrive in Dublin on Easyjet.

I know they don't fly there but you know what I mean.

Yeah sorry I didn't mean to sound unequal or condesending - if I had my way Queeny would be on her bike too  Just amuses me how such leaches (ok Higgins not so much) get away with so much luxury and security....Anyway very off topic sorry

I read somewhere once that ATC in the UK gave priority to foreign heads of state arriving there.

    Must have been rubbish.

You can bet even the most lowly staff of the US administration would be straight in  But then the UK is pretty much another State really :pac:

    Stupid Question Alert

I haven't do much plane spotting or even cracked out the scanner in a few years, but FlightRadar has got me back into it big time, as has Live ATC on the iPhone.

Just wondering and it's presumably to do with coverage why so many flights are missing from FlightRadar around Dublin in particular AerArann but also a number of EI and FR.

Older ATR craft have no ADS-B so only appear on the much patchier MLAT coverage. All EI and FR should appear though.

There shouldn't be any missing EI or FR. Aer Arann is hit and miss due to their aircraft type not being as well received by fr24 radar.

Maybe they'd just realised Sabina had forgot to pack the emergency supply of TK Red Lemonade and the Tayto.
