Someone mentioned in the AH thread about a live flight that with flightradar one can have a cockpit view of the flight ?

really ? a generated view of course? ?

Its a flightradar generated view using map software......not actual live feed from the cockpit

Thought this would have been posted up already. Nice catch.
I saw this aircraft on finals for Dublin and couldn't make out the airline from the distance, checked Fr24 at the time and it didn't make sense (Munich to New York).

Lufthansa's A330 was routing from Munich to JFK and diverted into Dublin to offload an unruly passenger.

    passenger.

    A330

I don't think FR tends to show that kind of aircraft. I've seen helis on FR about twice.

The Coastguard helicopters never show up on FR24, they have marine locators on board in case of ditching in the ocean therefore will show up on marine radar.

The Rescue heli's will only show up with MLAT. Most of the time they are low so not enough receivers being able to pick them up and plot for FR24.

Anyone else's marine radar app/website acting up lately?

Yeah, acting up big time, taking a long time to load, refresh, freezing a lot and so on

The origin/destination data on FR24 is guesswork and often wrong.

Yes. They have a database of known timings/callsigns. It is not transmitted in the ADS-B data. As a result it is very often wildly wrong, such as this case.

It was interesting to see it, as I searched through the list of nearby flights.

    From fr24 Facebook page:

Norwegian flight #DY941 (a Boeing 737-800 with 94 souls onboard) from Copenhagen Airport (CPH) to Oslo Lufthavn Gardermoen had to divert to Göteborg Landvetter Airport due to a bomb threat. The threat was received at 1400h UTC/1600h CET and the plane touched down 30 minutes later where the plane was evacuated.

Watch the flight in reverse on the link below:

According to Dagens Nyheter, one suspect has been taken into custody by the Swdish police.
