Could it be this? Going on the aircraft registration (15122).

Would be interesting if it was. There was another aircraft ("Devil2") briefly visible nearby.

Hawker Hunter T7 (G-XMHD) west of Swindon:

Interesting alright. Reason I suggested it is that there's Dutch Air Force F-16 Fighting Falcons based at Leeuwarden Air Base nearby, the registration on FR24 corresponded with an F-16 Fighting Falcon of the Portugese Air Force.

Joint training exercise or something perhaps?

Just noticed a 767 with the carrier listed as 'roman abramovich' off the SW coast of England. Venice to 'not listed'. Wonder where he is off to! World Cup maybe?

At about 10:20 I was outside my work in north Bedfordshire and saw an airliner sized plane flying with 4 or 5 small dots around it with I can only assume were smaller planes or jets. I can't get fr24 playback to work so could well have been military or something.

Get some sleep,, you need to be up early on Saturday...:p

FR336 - you don't need to be up early Saturday morning, our flight is postponed due to a cold front (rain) coming through tonight into tomorrow so there is a wet band going all the way down to the Southern English coast.

Slightly off topic, took this shot last night of Piper EI-GDJ, he wasn't on FR24.

Never mind, was a good excuse to use to get out of my fr24 24/7 security meeting with Her majesty, Obama, Putin etc. Can't stand these people really.

That was a bi-plane! There was another mystery plane nearby for a few seconds, but no info given on FR.

Technoavia SM-92 (HA-YDF), the same one mentioned in the Wikipedia article as being based at Hibalstow:

I think there is a difference between a Pitts Special and a couple of jets. :P

    It was a USAF DC10 and 4 A-10 Warthogs.

    Using Clean and Tabor callsigns.

I'm flying VFR to Guernsey (EGJB) at the Weekend (Saturday), would be interesting to see if we turn up on FR24 leaving Weston. Wheels up at 11am local routing DCT KLY DCT VATRY DCT STU DCT CHIVENOR DCT BHD DCT SKERY DCT.

Anyone online Saturday morning can check?

Doesn't look like the flight is showing up on FR.

LY-MCA (of DOT LT, whoever they are) operating Aer Arann/Stobart/Regional flight from Dublin to BHX at present. Looking at the history it's done a few flights the last few days for them
