Thomas Cook A330 LGW-Cancun showing 7700 and turning around. Ironically there are fire engines in the aircraft picture on FR24.

Gulfstream III ( yes, that old! ) approaching SE coast, possibly return leg to Shannon. It's 87-0140 of the US Army, used to be part of the Andrews AFB fleet but now a senior staff hack.

Nice pair of noisy Speys pushing that one alone.

    Update: callsign is VIEW36

Update2: descending now. FR24 has lost it but I think it's for Shannon

Well make sure you're near a computer from now on. This level of service is unacceptable

In light of the previous comments towards a fellow info supplier, I and my feed are going on strike!

Demands are, apologies all round and loads of pints due at whatever Aviation beers that ever get organised.

Full scale apologies will get the industrial action suspended.

I'll accept your apology Mech, we all get a bit lazy sometimes. I love a few Erdinger myself so two or three of those will do :P :)

You should put some Wimbledon on the feed Pat, that'll have the troops rallying.

No way...Didn't know it was on FR24 and funny seeing this post, I was in the UK yesterday and saw this fly overhead just before it started its descent.

This look funny, is it normal now for marshallers to stand on ladders and direct in aircraft?

If it's a big aircraft,777 for example, they often use them platforms as the cockpit is so high that the flight crew may not be able to see the marshaller on the ground.

Swissport use one at DUB for the EK arrival, and i'm assuming EI for the EY morning arrival.

QTR728 flew over the house a few minutes ago, 777, PHL - DOH, absolutely fab looking, at 35,000ft and could make out the wings, engines, tail fin and fuselage perfectly. Could even see the purple colour on the tail, First time I was able to make it out so clearly like that

The Casa is out this eve. Doing, er, fisheries patrol (?!?) over the Slaney and Glendalough.

Do you know what I really love about FR24. I was just sitting at home and heard a plane fly overhead, so I opened FR24 and discovered it was this.

    It's probably my nosey nature.
