Actually quite a common passer-over in NI skies, doing a round-the-world service from Chicago through Amsterdam and Novosibirsk to Shanghai. Gorgeous colours.

An-124 just passed north of NI. Oh well..

Boeing 737-500 LY-AZV just departed DUB.

Boeing 737-500 LY-AZV just departed DUB.

Pretty sure it may be a -700, ex EI-IGP on delivery flight. According to Skyliner and DUB Notams.

    Open to corrections. :)

Edit: Different websites showing as -500 & -700. Might be recycling a old reg?

Well it (SW100) just crossed the Atlantic in about 3 seconds so either a FR24 glitch or aliens. I'm going with aliens.

On Monarch Manc - Palma flight emergency landing at Gatwick fire engines everywhere! Scary

  • Registered Users Posts: 10,179 ✭✭✭✭fr336

Most 7700s are medicals aren't they?

  • Registered Users Posts: 10,179 ✭✭✭✭fr336

Monarch at LGW has apparently landed safely.

Duff engine apparently - Monarch Airlines steward says they don't fly with one engine. Does that mean Ryan Air does?

Never let an emergency landing get in the way of bashing an airline with a 29 year safety record!!!!!!! People make me mad. If they're as good as they clearly think they are, maybe travel private with their wonga? (Oops flying private wouldn't be quite as safe as Ryanair)

Listening to Shannon control on liveatc, I think the BA squawking 7700 has one or more ill pax and one or more ill cabin crew. The reception wasn't great sorry.
