    This post has been deleted.

Exactly. So where is the bravery in doing so. Stupidity and underneath it all selfishness would more easily spring to mind.

Anyone else encountering reduced functionality on FR24, namely the playback option? On occasions I can't access the site at all.
I'm assuming its due to high volume of traffic on FR24 but you'd think it would be okay by now if that was the case.

Rather unusual to see a Madrid-LAX flight overhead Ireland- this one is just overhead Cork

I'd say a lot of media outlets are watching it intently as well as a lot of new users who weren't aware of it and are curious. A lot of the TV media have been using its playback facility and I'd say their servers are taking a hammering.

Hey fr336, I saw another interesting sight over north Beds today. One large WW1 OR WW2 aircraft flanked by two smaller ones flying low and dong circles in formation. Then I read on twitter something about a flypast this weekend of WW1 aircraft at the Bedford river festival. Might be connected to what I saw! Could be worth checking out.

Anyone else notice that the playback feature is gone from the Flightradar web site?

The have temporarily taken it down due to the huge increase in traffic to the site. They expect to have it back up tomorrow.

If you can do without MLAT plots then the Planefinder playback is pretty decent as an alternative.

  • Registered Users Posts: 6,467 ✭✭✭h3000

Still dropping altitude though, albeit very slowly.

There was a night not so long ago twenty aircraft of northern Spain squawked 7700 simultaneously, an error on FR24's part, let's hope its just that. Bit weird its continuing on present track and descending very slowly.

Any idea what ATC they would be in?

    EDIT: They are turning now.

    yep turning now....and descending slowly

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,206 ✭✭✭Zcott

Dropping quicker now. Might be headed to EGAA.

  • Registered Users Posts: 237 ✭✭ShanE90

    Belfast?

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,206 ✭✭✭Zcott

    Looks more like Glasgow now.

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,985 ✭✭✭EchoIndia

If it is landing I would imagine Prestwick.

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,206 ✭✭✭Zcott

I wonder if it was a technical issue they tried to fix as the aircraft was slowly descending and then decided to turn back.

Levelled off at 21000 but Prestwick looks to be the destination.
