    Someone's taking a grand tour of the US in a 787 . . .

    3f304e9

I would hazard a guess that it is doing a certification flight for ETOPS.

Disappeared from fr24, however this happens all the time with ATRs and the like due to poor radar strength on fr24.

An EZY is making the approach to STN now, so the ATR is almost certainly down fine.

It was EI525 from CDG. Very late abort. Was on it. Cool listening to roar of engines to get altitude rapid. Felt like only one lap of hold.

I wonder where "CLB25" is off to, G-COBM, the calibrator, left Darlington in the UK, currently off the south coast of Ireland.

Checks airports equipment such as radars, ILS and the like doesn't it? Cork or Shannon? It's done DUB both in daytime and at night; SNN in daytime.

Googled the flight number and it comes up as the airline being Baboo.. Who do indeed offer scheduled serviced from STN - DUS

Not quite Baboo anymore- Baboo was bought out by Darwin Airlines a few years ago who is the current operator. And to make it even more complicated, the flights are now marketed as Etihad Regional operated by Darwin!
