Quite a beauty is VP-BOB inside

And to think if you won the Euromillions you still probably wouldn't be able to fit the aircraft, let alone buy the thing in the first place.

It must be hugely frustrating for the PAX, they look to be halfway there and then told, sorry, we're going back!

Medical Emergency also seems to be a very common occurrence. Ah well, nothing you can do.

If you feel for the pax think how the crew feel also ;) we're people/sheeple too ya know!

had the nicest conversation with cabin crew on the way to manchester from shannon recently was going to collect a car

Two lovely Ladies sat with me and my buddy and shouted us a coffee.

Seen my first a380 in real life when we landed and they laughed away.

Have had great craic with RYR cabin crew even got free beer ( Dont tell MOL)

I'd say the 777 landing in dub was a sight to behold

Hope the pax is doing ok

Yeah, being paid for doing nothing eh

In seriousness, even the 'basic' day to day stuff seems to me of requiring a sharp mind working at pace. Then pilots really need to come into their own when there are, so often, medium challenges or almost just as often fairly large ones. Even with computers now it really is down to the pilots when the **** hits the fan and this thread lights up with go arounds, emergency landings etc. I admire them and the ones that are chilled and nice to all around them most of the time I have a lot of time for them!

BA 777 is still in DUB after last night's diversion for anyone nearby. Wonder when it will be off again.

Not on flightradar24.com yet. Dublin airport website says it departed at 17:47... I guess it's still taxiing?

    Google's 767 N2767 approaching NI heading north-west

Obscured on FR24 so here's the evil Planefinder link :)

I find those FR24 obscured links only work OK if there's only one of that type airborne at the time. Otherwise it tends to pick one at random.

It'll have had less onboard than it started out with, watching some of the docu's about airlines it's usual the premium passengers that will get flights rearranged first for those that need to be in New York urgently.

Yeah..reason I called it weird was because it said that its callsign is used for several types of flight / aircraft.

  • Registered Users Posts: 71,799 ✭✭✭✭Ted_YNWA

had no aircraft info either,, unknown I think it had, maybe because it was callsign for multiple.
