    Thanks! As I literally read this earlier and clicked the link to see location I could hear it and looked out the window to see it fly by on final approach! :) Don't see them in Dublin much these days!

    Can someone please clarify when the UA 747 is departing? I've seen Saturday at 2-3 pm, Saturday at 20:30 and also Sunday evening.

    Very much doubt the Saturday evening time. Game starts at 12:30 and the are usually 3-4 hours long. Not enough time for the logistic people to Marshall up everything and transport it to the airport for processing and loading. Sunday morning more like earliest.

    All the cheer leader stuff that they have beforehand starts at 12:30, game starts at 13:30, i'm with you on this, Sunday at the earliest. Anybody going to it? Who are people generally supporting

    Not necessarily every year, last one was in the Aviva and it Notre dame v navy in 2012. It's usually called the Emerald Isle classic it has been held In 1988,1989, 1996, 2012, 2014

    Teams have been Army, navy, Notre dame, Pittsburgh, Boston college and Rutgers.

    ETA: Oops billie1b informs me that they use a 767 on this route most days. Just looked into it and he is correct :o

    BA use the 767 on the shuttle multiple times per day every day. Used to use it on the Glasgow shuttle as well until about a year ago
