Huh. How odd. It seems to have overshot the runway in New York... by a few thousand miles. :pac:

The routes on Flightradar are guessed, not squawked and hence cannot be considered to be accurate.

In the History it showed as flying between Las Vegas And New York a couple of times in a row .. Is that guessed as well then ?

Possibly, take a look at the tracks recorded for them rather than the airport codes.

Reused squawk codes lead to this, people enter the route actually flown when the code is first seen/recorded and then when its reused the airports get shown again.

Not sure how it's known for aircraft to be ok or safe purely for getting on the ground but ok :pac:

A hopeful presumption. Approach from FR24 seems good so hope it's ok.

They are designed for Mach 0.85 cruising, about the same as a 747-400 and a smidge more than the 777 ( 0.84 ). So quite nippy for a twin, seem to cruise about 10 or 20 knots faster thhan an A330 in practice.

But there were some grand jetstreams yesterday that really pushed them along, Thomson's G-TUIF hit 578 knots / 665 mph; in my logs for the same day only a Kalitta 747 beat that at 584 kts.

G-POWD must rake in the cash for Titan. Operating Norwegian Long Haul this morning, usually Euroatlantic sub on this one for the sickly Dreamliners.

Really? The flights from Ireland to NYC weren't any faster.. I think it might be the height and speed it goes at.

BA830 not too happy about the Fly-by, said if they are delayed anymore than a couple of minutes they'll be short on fuel
