He is referring to the RE flight inbound from EDI.

Looks like EI3807 from Dub to Cork is still aimed at cork. Would a turboprop have an easier time?

What was that on ORK atc? Controller to Aer Arrann pilot: "Fair play to you!" :D

Seems one got in that didn't show up on fr24.

looks like it was EI3729 from Manchester. Fair play indeed!

Anyone know what's happening with Easyjet in Belfast?..

    An RE ATR approaching ORK.

    This will be interesting

Edit: Wait, where did it go? :(

Wow. On the face of it stunning work considering RYR 737-800 and EI A320 were scared off. However obviously no doubt they are all brilliant at their job and any number of variables are at play.

What was to have been the last arrival into Cork; EI725 from Heathtrow has been cancelled as well.

for sure. they really earn their wages on nights like this.

looks like we've lost the EDI flight. Must the same thing that happened when we missed the MAN flight :(

i landed in an A320 the other day in blustery weather and it was quite bumpy and swaying on the final approach, have no idea what it would feel like in that weather ! would have my heart in my throat

EI877 now about half a mile high

How come the Dublin flights are having no bother? Is it purely that the wind isn't crossing the runways?

IIRC, there's a poster here hosting an MLAT receiver in Dublin for FR24, it picks up ATRs, but they tend to drop off radar in the midlands. Might explain where they're gone.

EI877 from Lanzarote to Cork on the ground in Shannon.

The wind is blowing right down the runway, perfect for landing

Doesn't seem like the wind is quiet as bad in Dublin as it currently is in the south.

I am told that is not a live map of the winds but the 3 hour projection from one of the big weather models.

I have the Cork ATC feed on, so hopefully will hear if that Edinburgh RE ATR makes it.
