    And to make it more "interesting", 16 will be the active runway, parking close to the threshold area is easier, and it can be very thought provoking to stand close to the runway as the heavier aircraft are landing, the effects of the wing tip vortices can be quite amusing on occasions.

    Shore, if it was easy, everybody would be doin it.😁

    This is a drag reduction program for a Boeing 727-100 involving winglets and wing re-contouring (flap and slat system modifications). Significant drag reductions were produced, and the program was awarded an FAA STC. Alligator had responsibility for all aspects of installation of test equipment and data acquisition for the program, involving 80+ channel digital, analog, low-speed and high-speed data acquisition.     More likely to be positioning in for a horse charter, they were quite common from Dublin when I used to work on the ramp.

    TAF forecasting 58kt gusts at Dublin Airport overnight, luckily there will be no or very few flights at that time.


    But it is gusting to 47 kts when the majority of last waves are arriving in.

    STK08K DUB-KIR is looking like the first diversion of the night crosswinds in Kerry are 25knts gusting to 35knts. Pilot has said they will be unable to land in these conditions. Currently heading for SNN.

    the Luton flight was delayed earlier, on the ground at knock at the time was the Stansted flight. so what Ryanair did was they operated the luton fligh ex knock using the aircraft the from Stansted flight. the aircraft will then fly to Stansted then back to knock fro about 2200 . a lot of messing passangers about up there this evening!
