An AL regional coming in now, that would have a harder time landing right?

RYR50EC now overhead the VOR at Knock and is now outbound towards Castlebar to establish on the 09 approach.

I think diversion decisions are mainly in the hands of Ryanair control when it comes to the airport specified.

Yeah they seem more willing to divert tonight than the Aer Lingus... I know that could be to do with fuel etc, but its interesting to see where 'the call' comes from.

Let see how the two ATRs do now.

Easyjet EZY839 from London to Belfast is squawking 7700 heading towards coast of Scotland

7700 north of Belfast. Looks like they were in a hold for a while previous.

I'm normally quite a fan of the ATR, but I'd take an A320 or B737 over one of them tonight...

Probably fuel emergency due to the holding for bad weather at Belfast

Looks like both in Dublin are down fine now. Sounds very stormy here in north Dublin right now.

First of the two ATRs landed safely at ORK, and the wind seems to have calmed down a bit here a few miles west of the airport.

EZY839 landed in Glasgow. Btw, was the plane highlighted in red despite not being clicked on for anyone else? New feature on FR24?

Not an easy thing to do at this hour of the night and approaching RWY9 because there is no ILS on that side and no guiding lights. You just watch out the window for the rectangle and land in it.

Their voices did sound a touch relieved.
