Heard reports of 2 go arounds due to a hare strike on the runway, carcass took a few minutes to remove.

AB3224 from Dusseldorf to Malaga http://fr24.com/BER113N/5371ec8

Down to fl800 could be loss of pressure.

If you've a problem with a car, you might as well go to the main dealer:D

Bound to be spares and engineering support there.

An early call not to try. Are conditions that bad in Cork?

2 hours 30 mins since they both departed. Probably time to divert.

the manchester one looks like its off to Kerry or Shannon. not sure if kerry could take 3 planes at the same time though, the Dublin flight is due there pretty soon.

CFE79N BA Flyer Dublin to Rochester, is that a mistake. Over North Wales at the moment.

    both stobarts gone to Shannon.

is there any reason they didnt pick Kerry apart from potential capactity issues in Kerry?

  • Registered Users Posts: 209 ✭✭Torlac

    Shannon it is!

  • Registered Users Posts: 321 ✭✭toonarmy1

Anyone know what happens when they land in shannon ? Do they refuel and try cork again or are the passengers bussed to cork ?

    Why ?

Crews will have known the weather beforehand and fueled it appropriately. Probably could stay airborne for a lot longer.

Wind is in the sour spot 40 degrees off each runway and gusting.

Pax bussed to Cork, crew may stay with aircraft. Another crew may be available.

Shannon would be the designated alternate. Easier to get ground transport.

No issue with room in Kerry. I've seen a tech 42, it's 72 replacement and both Cork 72's there plus the Ryan's.
