Jist as an aside to the 787 squak, Are alot of new aircraft not coming with fuel dumping capabilities? Im assuming its to save money on the purchase of the aircraft or am i totally wrong?

No more emergencies than normal I'd say. Just depends on your fr24 filter settings.

I turned on the 77 filter and had to turn it off after a day or two.

Why is there not a 7500 filter? Would be more interesting.
7600 is no use at all.

In Alerts on the paid version one may select alerts 7700, 7600 . I have them both switched on.

Indeed but why not 7500. I'd be more interested to follow a hijacking than a comms failure.

Although I do like the 3D button function, watching the full approach:D

IF this is an engine issue, this could be big drama for the Dreamliners.

There have been a number of issues with this aircraft. The batteries in 2013.

    ..
A British Airways (BA) flight on its way to Calgary in western .
Canada from London reversed its course and returned to Heathrow Airport.

A suspected technical problem with one of the engines caused the long-distance flight to be cut short. The pilot of flight BA103 took the decision to return the plane to Heathrow.

A BA spokesman told IBTimes UK the flight landed safely in west London.

"It's a suspected technical fault with one of the engines. We do not know yet if there was a problem, or it was a precaution by the pilot," he said.

In a statement, British Airways said: "The flight crew requested a priority landing as a precaution, and the aircraft landed normally.

This a normal procedure which are flight crew are trained to perform. Our engineers are now inspecting the aircraft. Safety is always our highest priority.

    I'd be not tbh.

These are (fortunately) very rare. 7500 alert should not be available for many reasons.

Why ever not? It's exactly the same as watching an emergency on fr24.

    How? :confused::confused:

The Dreamliner largely relies on it's ETOPS certification to be commercially viable. Engine shutdowns and ETOPS are not happy bedfellows, both for the manufacturer and the operator.

Think an FR is waiting at DUB to get off...weather not currently within their limits. Think they'd prefer 28 for takeoff.
