Can remembering a couple a years ago from London to Cork. The winds in Cork were bad pilot said it was going to be a little rough , but it was roughy. Plane shock. We landed.

As I left the plane the pilot was also leaving the cockpit. I said that rough, his reply was. See it from my side.

Just airfield maintenance and rescue vehicles. They are fitted with ADS-B transponders. You will see the same with DUB, DAAR15 , etc.

yes but 6 of them at the one time?

    very unusual...

Anyone know why you can see cars and equipment at Gatwick?

They are called LEADER and WORK

For the same reason that you can now see some of the DAA vehicles at Dublin, the latest systems have equipment on the vehicles so that they show up on the ground movement radar, which is particularly important when operating in low visibility conditions.

Rescue 1 and 7 were showing up last night at Dublin,

Shore, if it was easy, everybody would be doin it.😁

Last year when we got diverted to SNN it took the bus 4hrs 20 minutes in torrential rain, thunder & lightening etc., id definitely prefer Belfast

planes on the way back up from Shannon now.....i guess they are empty though?

strange thing is though that on the Dub website, it has its arrival down as cancelled. same for fr071...both due in 15 minutes.

Must of been something wrong with the bus, It never took me more than 2 hours 30mins in even the heaviest of rain. Belfast is only marginally shorter.

I thoroughly enjoyed the thread this evening.

Even more so because I was not on board one of those birds!

Let's be honest, it's great to listen and watch all this from the comfort of wherever we are on the ground!

Cheers to all who have provided info, and of course Mech 1 for the invaluable feeds.
