FR338 breaks off approach, request divert to SNN

I'm not trying to start a "bash Ryanair" session here, and I'm not a Ryanair Hater (quite the opposite actually) but what is it with their fuel policy? I watched the Dispatches programme and took it with a pinch of salt, but after today between listening on liveatc and watching FlightRadar, it's quite obvious RYR planes do not take as much hold/contingency fuel as Aer Lingus! I've no doubt that they have at least minimum fuel but it becomes obvious when they start diverting after 1 or 2 rounds of the holds while other airlines are sticking it out for much longer!

I know it's not a safety issue and it's more of a inconvience now for PAX stuck in Shannon

I'm not sure about this; you may be onto something but I have seen a RYR hang around for almost an hour LTN to NOC.

If they make two approaches and go around both times they have to divert, aviation policy, only in certain circumstances can they request a third try.

This is affect FR stats for their announcements.

95% of flights arrived on time, or will these be excluded as they did not arrive at their scheduled destination.

    Just a thought, not FR-bashing.

They will be based on the arrival time of the airport they divert to

FR1113 seems to be in the most bother. Enough fuel though, it would seem ;)
