I think its pretty clear this is about me.

You are banned from the weather forum and numerous other forums on here for trolling and maybe soon the aviation forum ?

Antonov An-124 just after taking off somewhere from the south of france, first time seeing it popping up on the radar.

its currently at 19,000 feet just north west of Carcassone.

Found this series of videos recently on youtube of the an124 which I thought were very good.

Just putting you all on alert, one of our recent posters is known historically, on threads I have long followed for stirring situations up and causing disruption.

I'm not sure if the trolling is deliberate however

Nothing to do but to attempt to wind up people by calling individuals "trolls". Give it a rest. I'm rarely on this forum.

Anyone following this thread on the Malaysian 777 that went missing earlier this evening?

Looks like it has re-surfaced at an airport in China due to a cockpit electronics malfunction.

Just on uk radio that it's missing altogether with 200 something passengers they don't know if it's crashed yet? I don't know if the radio report is correct?

just watching a report on BBC news. It appears to be missing alright. Sky news are also reporting it missing.

    13hrs missing now.

I think it's about to be a sad day.

  • Registered Users Posts: 10,179 ✭✭✭✭fr336

How many of these recent crashes have involved no ATC comms indicating something was wrong? Tragic whatever the circumstances, but I do hope not an act of terrorism.

On route to NOC, winds 26 kt from the South so going straight across the runway. Could be an interesting landing if they attempt.

Edit, straight forward landing in the end however they did earn a 'Well Done' from the tower.

She visited DUB last year, did she not?

I think it was carrying an engine for a Delta 767 stranded here.

I'm not sure about April to be honest but nearly 100% it was FEB with the replacement engine.

100% was there in April - however, I've some memory that there were two Delta AOG incidents within a fairly short period of time.
