My friend is a new asylum seekers in Ireland. Can she open a bank account with her temporary residence card ? She lives in a refugee accommodation, how can she prove her address ?

Hi obodo999,

You would be best to ask your friend to contact her nearest Bank of Ireland branch and make an appointment for opening an account. A financial adviser can then discuss the options particular to your friends situation with her.
