If anyone's looking for a place to carb load then Pizza Dach in Friedrichshain is the job - http://goo.gl/maps/CgULJ

Mains are only around €4 each so you can order 2 or 3 without worrying about breaking the bank.

I'm here now and I'll be back tommorow!

good luck to all running - have done this marathon twice - t's a greta event and a great city - enjoy!

btw last year I was in starting pen D and just after going through the D gate it was possible to skip across the grass to the path for pen C - obviously that might have changed this year but possibly not - best of luck to all!

So, was a meeting point ever agreed for the breakfast run in the morning? It's an early start and a bit of a trek from my hotel but I reckon I'm going to aim to be there anyway.

I'll be wearing a red Cork City marathon 2011 tshirt and will have hard to miss pink tape all up my right calf if anyone spots me and wants to give a roar. If there was a few of us we could go for breakfast and talk strategy / injuries afterwards :)

Just back from the breakfast run. A bit nippy heading out in the morning to the start but it picked up and after 10 or so the sun was shining. There was a good buzz and it was great to finish in the Olympic stadium, now for a day of relaxing and carbo loading.

Went to expo late afternoon yesterday, it was quite buzy, I was down to start in Block D but got switched to Block C at the help desk.

Best of luck to everyone running, hope we all hit our targets.
