Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Talking of betting, I won a 50 euro Ladbrokes voucher in one of my leagues last season. Forgot about it during world cup.

Any suggestions for a good season bet to bung it all on?

Garcia to win the WGC tonight. At about 4/6 at the moment and he's 3 ahead going into the final round

Oops. Just re-read your post. Looks like you want a soccer bet. Arsenal to win the league :-)

I think I'll probably have to put the full 50 on one bet probably at minimum odds. Would never bet 50 quid on anything so might as well do something that I can root for all season.

Fair play lad. Keep going at it and you'll soon be doing it in 21 or 22 minutes.

Has anyone seen the Inbetweeners 2? I saw it tonight and I laughed so much it began to hurt :D Thought it was much better than the 1st film and a return to form like the first 2 seasons. I want to go see it again right now!

Anyone looking for some serious distraction in the final hours till GW1 deadline, I can heartily recommend putting together one of these buggers in the garden from a flat pack :D

Not a hope I'd be able to assemble something like that I struggled with the cot.

That gave me a laugh, had to assemble the cot with the mother of all hangovers after wetting the babies head... Took me about 2 hours. Torture.

Much more sensible when the second child came around.
No drinking and same cot was up in minutes.
In fairness, there were about 5 screws left over.... Half expecting the thing to fall down :) Ara it's only the second child, he'll be fine.

How much did that set ya back? Looks like fun!

I actually find stuff like that is often easier than the small stuff like push cars and that.

Its about 800 quid delivered. Delivery would be less if you don't live so close to Iceland..... Good investment over a few years and and a lot cheaper than anything assembled or from Smyths etc.

Lot of work assembling but I love pottering about with a drill and a screwdriver.

Amazing scenes. 3 great games in a row now. Take a bow football. Badly needed after a poor championship.

Horrible to see supporters and backroom staff involved in on pitch bust ups yesterday again though. GAA really needs to stamp out this kind of thing

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,747 ✭✭✭Swiper the fox

    The Dubs are bottling it:eek:

I said in the other thread I wouldn't like either team to win and I lost a lot of respect for McGuiness over the Kevin Cassidy thing but he and Donegal deserve a pile of credit for this.

Hon Mayo.... Jesus, I'm only coming around after yesterday.
Woke up this morning and had to see if we won or lost.
Followed by a quick check of my post history on here.
I'd be lying if I said I wasn't on it it again :) always next year :(

A bit of a relief I have to say. No getting our hopes up this Sept.
Married to a Kerry woman but my mothers family are all Donegal. Com'on Donegal.

Fantastic to see Donegal get the result. Didn't expect it. The Dubs were getting a bit over indulgent - I found the Strawberry Alarm clock piece narrated by Peter Cloonan very cringeworthy.

On a different note, my wee lad starts school tomorrow at my old school, 26 years after I started. Now I really do feel old!
