Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Lads if you wouldn't mind taking a moment (won't take more than 3 minutes) out of pondering your next transfers could you please fill out this short survey on online shopping and ordering for me for a college project I'm working on!

    https://docs.google.com/forms/d/19E-AkA9tx2AjZQvoYxx8FcZC20I4ujzgookfnYV-bJM/edit

    Really appreciated, thanks :)

Done pal. Good luck with the project.

You may go to a female oriented forum to get a few non male responses!

Yeah the comment is only partly joking. Would dread having an electronic device sitting on the table at a restaurant as part of the ordering process. I'd be more in the "Ban Smartphones from Restaurants" club.

I was in japan for a month a few years ago, and each restaurant had either an English menu, an English speaker or little wax models of their dishes in the window. Many a time we had to drag the waiter outside to point at a bowl of yaki soba.

Only 2 places had none of the above, one of which was a place that had a built in touchscreen menu. We were blown away by it.

Worst thing about that survey was having to select 36-45 age group. I've not yet got used to being that demographic. :)

Haha sorry about that, you're actually not the first to say this to me!:D

Cheers lad, i got my friend to share it on Facebook too so i've got a good bit of feedback so far, funnily enough still only four female responses!

For anyone that's slightly interested in what it is for I'm in the middle of a course in "user experience design" which involves trying to understand users preferences for using technology, in my case specifically websites and apps. and how you can take people's preferences for one thing and use them to build something new that they might find useful!

Some interesting stats already from the responses i've got so far! i'll throw them up here for anyone interested when i've finished the report!

I hate the One 4 All vouchers. Alot of the time Argos is about the only decent shop you can use them in.

I find Blanchardstown shopping centre vouchers good. At least there's a huge variety of shops for people using them.

More prying from Swiper, I saw in another thread that forum stalwarts Iroced and Wonski mentioned that they were both non native English speakers (have known about iroced for some time), I assume ye are both living in Ireland?? Any other non Irish(what's the correct term these days?) people posting on FSA and heaven forbid is there anybody posting here without a connection to Ireland at all. I'm convinced this is the best FPL forum so it wouldn't surprise me to hear that others have gotten involved.

@Swiper. Back home in the South of France now . Spent 6 years in Dublin for my studies (PhD). At some point I hoped to find a job there as a follow up to my PhD but crisis played its part and that didn't work. Struggling since... Really enjoyed my time in the emerald isle though (even became a decent par3 golf player :D). Shame I didn't travel the country as much as I would have liked to. But I'll be back some times.

Blame thunderdog (my former PhD mate) for introducing me to the FPL virus :pac:.

Finally took the plunge and got myself a PS4 with GTA, The Last of Us and Far Cry in Argos today. Very good price at €399.

Think I'll bring Far Cry to GameStop tomorrow and trade it for FIFA.

Far Cry is a great game too. I'd give it a whirl before you trade it. Got it last week and I wouldn't like 1st person shooters but there's a certain entertainment value in riding an elephant into royal army bases and wreaking havoc :)

The Last of us was class on ps3 and meant to be even better on 4. That's a cracking deal though just wish I held off another 2 months now

That was a great deal. I bought earlier this month and gta and fifa are great games. Don't have much time to play it though.

    €50 for the subscription

On the controler front, gamestop have them for 60. Amazon Uk works out at 56 euro.

Cex have the controllers for 55 if there's on near you. Trade in a few games and you might get it for little or nothing.

Cheers. Do Tesco sell the subscription? They are matching Aldi's spend €50, get a tenner off.

Even if they do I am not sure they will honour it for a subscription tbh.

    Worth a shot, though.
