Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Anyone going to EP?

    Not me unfortunately.

However I would love some pints in Dublin with the FPL folk if anybody would be up for it?

Depending on the weekend (not dublin based) I'd be interested

Ya, a 3pm meet up where everyone gathers together to look at their phones.

I'm usually to be found walking into people in shopping centres while on my phone on saturdays.

    Accurate. Sounds great!

Think it would be good craic discussing football from an FPL perspective as opposed to a fan bias perspective

Would love to be going, it's probably 5 or 6 years since last time I was at ep, not sure my back could cope with the camping part of it anymore.
Might be tempted next year but think it would have to be a camper van job

Manage a junior club and it's our second last league game (Summer soccer in Mayo) today. A point will see us promoted to the top flight. We lost last week after winning the previous 19 games. I must have subconsciously planned my WC around it as all my players had played by 5pm yesterday...

I'm pretty sure if you're bill pay that abroad data is irrelevant. It's all based in EU.So you should be fine as you're in portugal. I work in a similar industry so I'm 99 percent sure that's correct

Girlfriend is doing a 10K charity run this Saturday.

I went on to the page to donate.

Upon finalizing my donation i'm greeted by this screen

    Your Donation
    Breast Cancer Ireland € xx.xx
    Ensure charity gets 100% €1.03

I just don't get it. I've to pay extra to ensure the money i'm donating to a charity. Gets to the charity. Baffling.

Website appear to be asking you to pay their admin fee alright.

Who was processing the payment and was it with a credit card? I doubt they are taking their operational costs into account. Instead it's just the cost of making the payment. Someone had to cover it. You, the chatiry or those running the website.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,191 ✭✭✭✭Shanotheslayer

It was just a credit/debit card. I just didn't click the box that would pay it. I imagine my charity donation is just slightly less then.

Yeah wasn't going to bother either but was at Drogheda Harps last night and the young lad talked me into staying down and going to Denmark game. Have a mates season ticket going spare. Would take anything for it really, if anyone in Dublin fancied a look at Super Matt Doherty.

Anyone recommend a decent monitor for playing games on? I'm thinking a 27 inch one. No more than 300 euro. For playing my Switch and Wii U on, so no more than full hd is needed

Aye rocket league is anyway. But I don't think it's created via a friend's system. Just mostly through random generation.

I just play counter strike anyway :pac:
