I have heard it will be after next week when we find out.
Maths test was an absolute disaster for me but reading on here it was bad fir everyone so there is a little hope for me. But either way I'd like to be out out of my misery!! Anyone any idea how many got called for the aptitude and how many they will be taking forward for interviews?

Some of my mates did well at the maths . I was like WTF .

4 lads all said they got all of them done

Or maybe they are going through the test applications with fine toothcombs for any irregularities or similar mistakes, due to the fact some people were bragging on this forum about how they completed the test for friends.

Id say its a weeding out process. They will gather the similar answered exams and request that these people will complete them in person and compare answers from both exams.

Hope so anyway

Great point cruais... For those of us who honestly and truthfully completed our tests, let's hope we are successful. 😊 hope we hear soon tho and best of luck to you!

Tests were corrected by computers. I'm sure if they're looking for discrepancies to the computer could show them straight away. More likely in my own opinion is they are going through the cvs aswell to short list for interviews but hey, that's only my opinion. Likely to hear from this wed-fri whether we are successful from what I've been told.

Don't know for sure but, from round 1 to round 2 was about a week this time round they really are taking there time

No I rekon they're just contacting internals first.

The majority of jobs will go internal Id say.

Advantageous to DAA to have airport staff filling positions, big learning curve to the layout of the airport and where everything is. Probably quicker and cheaper having their own staff filling most rolls.

It won't matter if it's a big learning curve as the same training will be given to all recruits, DAA or not. Not all 15 positions will be DAA

I think it is only right Internal candidates get a go..any other company positions must be advertised internally. The Guards neglected to do this with their recruitment campaign recently and its coming back to bite them in the ass, management that is

Calls for interview are being done in batches. And there's quiet a lot of interviews to be done for external candidates from what I've been told.

I would say it's unlikely we will get a call at this stage. If the poster above is right and emails are being sent tomorrow for those who got a call then it's not looking good for the rest of us.. Bizzare tho as I found the aptitude straight forward.. Move onto the next opertunity I guess!

what is mind boggling is the fact I know a couple of guys/girl who got through for interview, all external candidates who all found the maths difficult and scored max 50% in that exam and their cv is nothing to write home about and they are through.

the selection process has been a right head scratcher each stage from reading through some of the earlier posts

mind boggling, but campaigns like this usually have huge amounts of applicants which are handled in batches Id estimate at least 300 hundred interviews over the next two weeks. So don't lose hope until you get the dear john email. Plus there's going to be more recruitment for the airport fire service over the next few years and I know that for a fact.
