    Hi guys,
Just looking for a bit of advice! I'm hoping to get out for a surf this week some evening after work! Tides in Lahinch seem to be on the rocks every evening and with the evenings getting shorter I was hoping to head elsewhere! Is it possible to surf Fanore on a high tide? Is there anything in particular to watch out for?

Ya it's definitely possible but try and stay at the southern end of the beach near the lifeguards hut. This is the cleanest area of the beach where there are only a few rocks. The further down the beach you go, the rockier it gets and there's also the river that flows into the sea. This can cause rip currents every so often.

Whatever you do, don't surf directly in front of the river anyway because it's full of rocks but they are completely covered at high tide.
