Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Cisse dropped to the bench. I suppose I shouldn't be surprised but I am.

    Nice goal Lukaku 1-0

    What Chelsea are missing

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,526 ✭✭✭✭Darkglasses

Ooooh good goal. Bit weak defensively, wasn't too hard for Lukaku to find the space. Good finish though.

Poor goal to concede, missed header, missed interception and freedom of the box. If only we had a warning, oh wait....

Whatever about mourinhos thing with mata but loaning out lukaku was frankly idiotic, blind faith on his behalf thinking torres and eto'o would do a job.

Everton have a nice little team, bit odd playing 4 cms though.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,526 ✭✭✭✭Darkglasses

Looks like a mauling on the cards already.

been holding possession a bit since the goal and keeping it on the deck

Wonder if Chelsea have the option to take Lukaku back after Christmas or something. Some player that if given the chance will do the business for you. Should have been rated higher than current options at Chelsea.

How exactly could they lose Lukaku in the box, not like he's a midget :P

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,161 ✭✭✭✭M5

Any chance of a bit of closing down/marking and or tackling?

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,591 ✭✭✭ambid

I'd love to see McCarthy get into the box more. In that last move he played the ball wide, and immediately started running backward into midfield. I know he's a deep midfielder, but it would be great if he could add goals to his game.

How much space do we want to give Everton, CLOSE THEM DOWN for gods sake

I'm pretty sure one of the Newcastle defenders in the centre just blindly ran towards goal looking across at Mirallas.

In a sense he didn't lose Lukaku, a criminal case of defending.

A guy 25 meters from goal can play a pass into the penalty area without any pressure on him?

    Eh?!!

can someone let me know when we decide to turn up for this one

Welcome to watching Newcastle. Only reason this clown of a manager is still employed is our owner is refusing to invest a penny in the club

We are a shambles. Pardew's long ball nonsense continues. Stupid.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,723 ✭✭✭bazual

when gareth barry gets to the edge of your box you know you are not having a good night

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 51,342 ✭✭✭✭That_Guy

Surprised this commentator can still talk given that he's got the whole Everton teams cocks in his mouth.

Ah yes, he's supposed to talk about how great Newcastle are - despite the fact they can't find their arse with both hands at the moment

Nope no clause to take him back Jose said earlier in the season. A pity but hungery Torres is back ;) maybe in 4 games if he get a ban :(

    3-0 Lukaku, what a beast

    Newcastle are shocking.

The people making decisions at Chelsea are mental.

Dont think thats the point. THe goals NUFC conceded were not down to Evertons brilliance. Symbolic defending, no closing, failure to pass the ball 5 yards

    Exhibit C

Newcastle, just go home. Horrendous. Lame. Weak.
If this was a boxing match the ref would call it.
