I'd love to see McCarthy get into the box more. In that last move he played the ball wide, and immediately started running backward into midfield. I know he's a deep midfielder, but it would be great if he could add goals to his game.

I'm pretty sure one of the Newcastle defenders in the centre just blindly ran towards goal looking across at Mirallas.

Dont think thats the point. THe goals NUFC conceded were not down to Evertons brilliance. Symbolic defending, no closing, failure to pass the ball 5 yards
