What happens if I stop paying my bank of america credit card bill

    I live in Ireland, am Irish and lived in the USA for 1 year. I joined the Bank of America and have an account with them. I got a credit card also and currently owe about $9000. What happens if I dont pay this back, can they do anything as I live in Ireland, I know my credit rating will take a hit but I dont mind as I dont plan on living there again
