Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Bringing Giggs on forced us back another 10 yards. Another silly sub from Moyes

Moyes set out to defend tonight. Typical negative football. We're going backwards.

That has been coming all night, the last 15 mins will be tough I can see us going home with 0 points

Deserved for Shakhtar. Moyes needs to cop on with these lineups and substitutions

Model to happen when you bring a 38 year old on in the centre of the park! Vidic was poor for the goal but the way Vslencia just let his man run off him again is criminal!!

Sitting so deep all night that they may as well be sitting in the stands altogether watching the goals go in.

By the way, who's the 2nd commentator tonight on Sky? He's fukcing awful!

This is no way to judge a footballer

It is and it isn't. When you aren't regularly playing in the Champions League you can take time to adjust; the good sides will show you up. I remember watching Arteta against Milan in his first season with Arsenal and he was absolutely swamped, lost out there. Now he looks the part. Same will happen with Fellaini.

Valencia is better than Nani defensively though!

The man is simply out of his depth.

Any chance this ****ing sentimentality with Giggs is going to end after any of his inept appearances

I'm fairly convinced shakhtar have mined so deep they've ended up in Brazil.

    1 sub again tonight?

Not sure I totally agree but it's like he is trying to make us really functional and is only used to hard fought points. That's not how it is with United.

Can only hope he grows into it. By the by lads, Fellaini will get better. He has played amazingly well against top PL teams so to call him or of his depth after two European games against worse opposition is very premature.

Rvp and welbeck are getting no service at all, looks like its backs to the wall for the last 5 mins

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 25,953 ✭✭✭✭kryogen

Seeing Giggs on the field is actually tilting me

Never mind watching RVP stranded and starved

Why have we not made a change since they score?

  • Registered Users Posts: 14,193 ✭✭✭✭Kerrydude1981

If they drop back any further they will be lining the goals with DDG

So far yeah, as bad as Fellaini was playing he was still able to offer a outlet and hold the ball up, he was playing behind RVP . Since Giggs came on they can't get out. Baffling sub

Moyes will be delighted with this result sure! Doesn't want to change anything in case he loses

The exact opposite attitude of what should be in the managers chair at the club

Moyes needs to improve massively. His decision making has been terrible and we're playing a boring brand of football. Terrible stuff to watch.

This would be considered job done by the manager

This is so much like Hodgson at Liverpool, it's uncanny.

It's being like this all through the second half from what i have seeing. Another poor performance and odd team selection.

This is the exact issue right here. I've never seen anything from Moyes to suggest he is capable of turning United into a slick effective attacking team capable of winning the amount of games that the teams who win the trophies usually win.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,894 ✭✭✭Nolars

Giggs, carrick and clev in midfield Ive seen more technique in the irish team.

I would actually laugh if he came out afterwards and said it was a historic result

Valencia has perfected the art of standing still beside a football.

    Tough place to come.

    No easy games in Europe.

A good point away from home.

We'll look forward to the next game.

When was Hodgson in the CL with pool?

Shakhtar making subs to try and go win the game. Moyes totally inactive. He'll be gone by January.

    Vidic with a goal here!

One of the best strikers in the world on the pitch and we create sweet f*ck all for him. It's only a matter of time before RVP starts to get frustrated with Moyes' tactics.
