Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I think he is employed as a coach working in primary schools. As such he isn’t allowed to work with development squads.

Right? Bias or what is the reason?

Think it’s because it will prevent coaches being forced to take development squads. I’d imagine some unscrupulous county boards might see it as a cost saving measure. And also because the coaches might do less in primary schools.

My understanding is that Roper is involved.

Will have to wait and see. McDaid is a good appointment I hope.

A rare club ulster title won! Naomh Colmcille Junior Champs. Matty Crossans goal seemed to have given them the space to see it out. Congrats to all involved!

Is it Dunedin you play next?

They beat Dunedin today. Dunedin not at the levels they have been at so would have been a huge shock if they won.

    AI SF next up.

More abuse of social meeja at the County Convention. Can't figure out if this is unique to Donegal or if certain people are just making more of it.

It’s pathetic from the county board.

They need to wise up and get on with it.

I like it alot better than the previous one that is for sure! The away jersey will be nice to if it is white and green. Wish KN Group didn't sponsor us anymore though.

I agree. Better than previous effort but as long as we have KN using a blue logo it is always going to spoil the jersey to a degree. The Abbey logo in matching green isn't nearly as bad.

It's better than last years. Still think I prefer the 2014 version. Or better still the 1992-2000 versions. 2001-2002 were pretty good too.

The 'away' jersey should go back to the green with gold hoops. IMHO.

We could wear them in Letterkenny and Ballyshannon.

Mark Anthony has had a pop at the Ballyshannon pitch.

The beginning of the end hopefully.

Wait, who is County Chairman now?

    Stephen McBrearty
    Gary Merritt
    Alan Lyons
    Enda McCormick
    Peadar Mogan
    Niall O'Donnell
    Marty O'Reilly

No wile surprises at all. Lot of Declan's Minor/U21 players. Am sure most of those will stick. Will be interesting to see if the likes of Mullins, Lyons and Merritt are there past the League.

So, no Neil McGee, Frank McGlynn or Michael Murphy for the opening 3 league matches. Added to the absence of Paddy McGrath. The games against Kerry and Dublin were always likely to be write offs, but Galway at home a good opportunity for 2 points. Will be tougher going now.

I see Luke Keaney has taken over as manager of Naomh Ultan - good luck to him.

We could lose all 7 games games in Division 1 next year.

If you go through the fixtures I think we are up against it. I wonder whether those 3 players are being tested for the first part of the year. I hope not.

League is only a trial run, the team needs to peak in the summer.

That being said, a good league run helps.

We thought this last year too!!! Year ahead - be delighted if we somehow make super8. We need to be there to from the outset. I think can forget about trophies for awhile :-(

We absolutely could. Was a tough prospect stay up before we got the fixture list, before we lost the 3 men (plus Paddy McGrath). But Tyrone, Galway and Kildare all beatable. But also, so are we.

Noticed the Donegal Team Bus in Athletic Grounds Armagh today too. Must be a challenge fight today.
